Sneha, the Children’s Home started as an ambitious but exciting dream....when Hema conceptualized her vision for the CH, I was definitely awed but at the same time a bit apprehensive as to the feasibility and magnitude of the project, as it was one of a kind. But her excitement was so contagious that I wanted to be part of it. She invited me to visit the CH and needless to say, I just fell in love with the whole idea and the area.

Sneha - not a typical concept of an orphanage but a HOME. A home for children amidst nature where they can be themselves in a safe environment created by their Mother. A peaceful abode with serenity all along giving them hope in life and setting them free to grow as human beings in true self.

I am an Architect. Sneha CH is my alma matter. I was there when the first child arrived at the CH. There was a big storm around that time which uprooted many big trees but our houses stood strong. Our CH is very strong, special and resilient. I know it by heart. We made it with love and dreams. I often feel that CH is like the seedling of a big banyan tree. You know banyan trees - they grow in the hardest places and eventually give life to the forest.

'স্নেহা', প্রকৃতির সাথে আধুনিকতার মিশেলে অনাথ শিশুদের গড়ে তোলার জন্য একটি দৃষ্টান্তমূলক আশ্রম।এখানে যেমন রয়েছে আধুনিক উপায়ে শিশুদের পাঠদান ব্যবস্থা, তেমনই আম-কাঁঠালের ছায়ায় কাঠের বেঞ্চে বসে পড়াশোনা করার দৃশ্যও চোখ জুড়িয়ে দেয়।পাঠ্যবইয়ের বাইরে এখানে শিশুদের প্রাকৃতিক-মানবিক-প্রাণবিক হওয়ার শিক্ষাও দেয়া হয়।আমি এ 'শিশুস্বর্গে'র উত্তরোত্তর সমৃদ্ধি কামনা করি।
